Varagu Pongal

Savory Indian porridge made with kodo millets and lentil spiced with cumin and pepper.

Ingredients: 

Kodo Millet, Moong Dal, Peanut oil, Salt, Cumin, Pepper powder

Cooking Instructions:

1. Empty pack into Instapot (or pressure cooker), add 510 ml water
2. Set to HIGH pressure and select rice setting (or 4 whistles for pressure cooker)
3. Once complete, let it rest for 8 mins, then open and stir well
4. Serve hot with sambar and enjoy
